Come on Spring

I am getting so excited for spring. A real spring.  Please, let it be a real spring and not just a tease of what will essentially be a really long really hot summer.  If I remember correctly, last year, spring was close to an actual season and not just a couple of nice days before 6-8 months of unbearable life sucking soul sucking heat.  

We're eighteen days away from spring.  It's feeling like spring already.  Wildflowers are starting to show.  

They're actually much prettier than is coming across in this picture.

Some of the trees have started to fill out.  Soon it'll be nothing but green green green. I can't wait.  Even with the pollen covering everything.  I know my excitement will wain once it gets stifling hot, but maybe that won't start until it's actually summer.
